Above all - I feel really GOOD about this Steemit Space :)

I know I tend to waffle a lot in some of my posts, lol - and yes as was very aptly pointed out by weisser-rabe I do in fact, think a lot… haha! But I suppose that is what makes me who I am and like most things, it has its advantages and disadvantages… but I do like to believe that the advantages come out tops, lol.

I was writing a fair amount yesterday about a couple of things Steemit related - just sharing my thoughts, which is a great part of why we are all here… to share and I have to say that in the big picture of Steemit - I feel very optimistic. I don’t mean to sound like any kind of cheerleader, I just mean, I have a good feeling about it.

There are many incredible people floating these feeds and there is a lot of passion and dedication woven in and amongst all of them which is what makes me feel the way I do about this space.

Like denmarkguy mentions often - Steemit is one of the few remaining spaces where writers and readers can happily gather - you know, people who appreciate some substance and as soulfuldreamer mentioned to me in one of her comments - it is so wonderful to connect with writers and creatives from all over the world on a level where self-expression is actually celebrated rather than overlooked… like old school “pen pals” as she so aptly put. I really did love that analogy/association as it is something which was an actual part of my life growing up… yes, I am that old haha!

At the end of the day, sure - I will share my thoughts and ideas about stuff around here, but that does not mean that I don’t already love the experience of being here - even with all of the “other stuff”. I have always loved writing and was really thrilled to step back into it and also to discover that despite some quirks and glitches (which everything and everyone has) that there is a community here which is very much alive and bubbling with enthusiasm.

Nothing more is needed you know… to make “a thing” great.

Passion and enthusiasm are always the primary ingredients… everything else is just details which can be dealt with at any time.

I love sitting down to write, read and “chat” here and the more I do it, the more I remember how much I had missed it for the time that it was absent from my life. There is nowhere else that I feel complete freedom to express myself either - nowhere! and I really do value that an enormous amount.

Everything in life has its own set of creases, but I think that as long as we seek out the good parts, then that is what will generally come to the forefront of our experience. That is how I see it anyway. It is good to have ideas and it is even better to have discussions about ideas. That in itself is a form of growth and indicates good things!

The expression of “listening to your gut instinct” is one which has always rung true to the nature of my life. Despite being an over-thinker, I will say that most of my decision making, direction taken and even thought is driven by the way I feel about something… and when I think about Steemit - I feel good, so I am genuinely looking forward to the way forward here and a LOT of that “feeling” stems from the people here.
