LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #076

Here's my entry for this week's Landscape/Seascape Photography & Art Contest hosted by @axeman.

Two weekends ago we went for a family drive to go and see the Glenlyon Dam, which is located out West between Stanthorpe and Texas, near the Queensland and New South Wales borders in Australia. Our weather over the past few years has been incredibly dry but recent rains have seen lands start to green up.

While heading out there, we had a storm chasing our tail for a good part of the way. Later we were then blessed with a beautiful double rainbow, of course that meant it was time for a stopover to send the drone up. There's a lot I like in this photo, not just the storm with the stunning cloud formations, the double rainbow but I also like the contrast in the lands from one side of the road to the other. Typical Aussie country lands!
