Frozen lake and my friends. A day to remember for long.

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I will share with you my special time with my friends who are my lifeline and i hope you will get some time to go through this post and also find it worthwhile to read.

Just a couple of days before I was back from office a little early and had to move towards a nearby village, which is closer to My place of residence and had to go there for registering some eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme, which has been revitalised for Providing safe and sound shelter to the homeless people of the country. I was on my way towards my place when my friends met me in the market of the village and after having a chitchat for about 10 to 15 minutes, they also decided to come along me towards that village so that they could enjoy some time together while I did my official work. It was quite exciting for me too, and I could not deny and took them along with me towards the village. As the village is quite beautiful, surrounded all around by evergreen pine trees and snow all around and over these pine trees makes it super beautiful. My time with my friends always is precious, and I always take it as a blessing to spend some time with my friends because as it is wisely said life is a one-time offer, and we must use it well and to do so, I usually prefer to spend more time with my friends .

Upon reaching the place, I straightaway got into my task and dived into the work of knowing life of the destitute people and feel their ordeal Of living in such miserable conditions. I was overwhelmed with the emotions And could feel that how lucky we are, as we have got our own houses to live in and still are ungrateful And always keep complaining about the luxuries we don’t have. After registering a few beneficiaries on the portal, I again got with my friends who had been waiting for me in my car outside the residential area. We had made a plan of spending some time on the banks of Nilnag Lake, which is frozen from quite a few weeks now and enjoy the scenes of boys playing over its surface. Upon reaching the place, we couldn’t spot any one playing over and thus We decided to do something that we usually do while being together. That is we planned to Enjoy some meet, which we planned to cook by ourselves for which I fetched a pan from a nearby household.

To enjoy the food without having any disturbance. We went inside the forest where we could gather some firewood for burning fire. It was quite a tough task at first because all the firewood had got wet due to this recent snowfall But we didn’t held ourselves back and made the fire burn by blowing air into it . We all are adept in cooking as we have been out of our homes during our studies for a long time and we all make suggestions while cooking and doesn’t matter who actually holds the control,Everyone has his say. The moments while burning the fire while quite precious and exciting and entertaining. We all would recall these moments later in our lives as such moments have got a special place in our hearts.

It was very late in the evening at around 5:40 PM, when we decided to start eating the snack that we had prepared by ourselves, and it truly was quite tasty and full of insightful moments. Spending such a good time in the middle of a forest is always special and the presence of snow all around made the scenes very beautiful and peaceful. While on such trips, we usually recall our past moments, and we truly cherish the presence of others every time we are together.

Later in the day, while we were returning towards the parking slot, where I had parked my car,we first decided to have some tea at a local Dhaba situated right at the banks of the Nilnag lake. I usually drink tea at the place because he always makes special tea with some added flavours, and his tea is almost liked by all. We couldn’t afford to leave the place without having tea at that Dhaba and it made our trip even more special.
We stayed there for some while till the sun had completely gone below the horizon after which we started our journey back to our place. The journey back home was quite exciting too, as we could listen to our favourite music while negotiating the hilly terrain curves of the area.
It was one more instance, when I spent some good quality time with my friends and as we all have come to a stage where somebody out of us is getting married every year and we go on such trips very rarely now because everyone has got busy in his life. Cherishing such rare moments, sparing some time for such activities is quite important.
