There are many beautiful houses with magnificent street facades in St. Petersburg. However, it was not customary to decorate the courtyard facades. Therefore, they often look plain and also carry the "wrinkles" of time. Of course, there are courtyards that have been renovated or simply painted, but, alas, not all.
