The Diary Game: A Day with My Nieces.

Summer vacations have started! When I was small, summer vacations always meant visiting "Nani ka Ghar" (grandmother's house). I think we can all agree that it's the time all children look forward to all year, while parents eagerly await the reopening of schools. Summer vacations have always been a wonderful time spent with family, going on trips, spending quality time with siblings, playing games all day long, engaging in different activities, and attending summer camps. I remember when I was small, my friends and I used to go to the swimming pool together. After swimming, we would play games in our neighborhood, like basketball, dodgeball, and many others.

Summer vacations after university just don't feel the same. Nowadays, even kids in school are more into digital activities, always wanting to watch cartoons and play video games. However, my eldest sister, who is married and has two amazing kids, continued the tradition by bringing her children to their "Nani ka Ghar" for the summer.

Since my niece was here this summer, I wanted her to have as much fun as we used to have. So, I decided to take her to a fun place in our neighborhood called FunStar. It's an indoor arcade game center where you can buy a card and then play several different games.

We all got ready and went to FunStar. As soon as we arrived, my niece was so excited to play all the games, just like her aunt. The first thing she wanted to do was ride a little train with her younger sister. They had so much fun on it, and even the younger one was delighted. After the train ride, she wanted to play the driving game.

Once she was done with that, I took her to the bowling game. It was designed for kids, so it wasn't real bowling but arcade bowling. I taught her how to play, and since I wanted to join in on the fun, we took turns and had a little bowling competition. It was heartwarming to see her so happy and having such a great time.

After that, she was excited to go for the dodging cars. Since she's just five years old and can't drive herself, I sat with her and drove the car. As I was driving, she was having so much fun. We had to dodge other cars to avoid getting hit, hence the name "dodging cars." She was having an absolute blast!

Well, it was time to go as our card was finished for the day. Just as we were about to leave, she noticed the little gift shop and, of course, wanted to buy something for herself and her sister. So, I bought them both cute little toys, and then we headed home.

It was such a wholesome day spent with my sister and nieces. This day brought back memories of our summer vacations and reminded me of how quickly time flies. It was wonderful to see my nieces enjoying themselves so much, just like we used to during our own childhood summer adventures. This experience is one of many summer stories I look forward to sharing with you all. Each moment was filled with joy and laughter, creating memories that will surely last a lifetime.
