Thank you for reading my post and offering your best advice. You are right that sketching with charcoal pencil gives the best look. But charcoal pencil is very soft and it is difficult to balance it. I mostly use B pencils for this purpose to bring clarity to the image. I use different numbers of B pencils for this purpose so that different pencils are used for each shade. Also, those above the charcoal pencils. Stabilizers are sprayed which changes the original look of the image while I put butter paper in between so that the colors and shades I want to give to my image remain and have a natural look I hope.
