RE: Interview with a Professional Artist: John Michael Keating
We are so lucky to be artists in this time period. In the past having the opportunity to chat and ask questions of someone with as much experience as John might have proved challenging. Now it is a click away.
I really enjoyed reading through some of John's experience's, the thing that really made me feel less anxiety was how he said he thought it would be his hard work that would get him to the point of being a professional. The resonated with me as I feel that I have not been born with natural talent, so it is my determination that I hope will be enough to bring me up to a professional level. Thank you for doing this interview!
Hi Erik, I am very pleased to hear your opinion over here because you can see it from your side and also to judge differently. Like I mentioned earlier in the post I completely was immersed into the world of JM and could imagine what he is saying. Also, I was surprised that on some stage of our life even if we are doing something that we are good in but either through meeting someone or discovering something else our complete life can be changed, maybe that is fate that is in every of us and "sleeping" and some people manage to find and activate it but many not.
Like you I was pleased to learn that it is not a gift that people are born with but practicing because of loving doing something may also bring their fruits that made me feel better and also made me feel to also keep working on my art skills.
Appreciate for your nice comments and sharing your opinion.
