RE: Fighting Abuse on Steem: DECEPTION and PLAGIARISM: @chrishberry and "500 steempower up voting event"
This particular person is not a verified or active member of SteemAlive community. However, the findings in this post are undeniable. I have gotten in touch with @bright-obias who is also in the same city with @kingcent to investigate this user. I will also try to get in touch with @kingcent.
I educate people about plagiarism and why it's such a terrible course. Although some people would still decide to do wrong. We will continue the fight. Unfortunately, they try to soil the reputation of others, which is bad in itself.
Thanks @stef1 for your work in fighting plagiarism. We are in this together.
Thank you @focusnow for reading the post, you are right it is enough to have few of those people and especially who are mentioning the names of the community leaders, that gives an impression that they are recognize members and of course raises suspicion why then the community did not act. In general, it would be good if somebody invites people then keep an eye on the person and guide them. Of course, it is not always possible but we need to try to support new users to avoid such situations.
