UNA PEQUEÑA VIDA

This is one of those little animals that in Venezuela we call "bad guys" because of the unpleasant smell (for us) that they give off. As other small creatures appear from time to time between the plants, to remind us that we made our houses in THEIR territories ... we used to treat them as intruders ... when the intruders have been us.

Este es un animalito de esos que en Venezuela llamamos "peorritos" debido al olor desagradable (para nosotros) que despiden. Como otras pequeñas criaturas aparecen de vez en cuando entre las plantas, para recordarnos que hicimos nuestras casas en SUS territorios...acostumbramos tratarles como intrusos... cuando los intrusos hemos sido nosotros.

But we can coexist peacefully, if we stop that bad habit of taking the life of everything that moves, as long as it is much smaller than us.

Pero podemos coexistir pacificamente, si dejamos esa mala costumbre de quitar la vida a todo lo que se mueva, con tal que sea mucho más pequeño que nosotros.

Let them live ... they are wonders of Nature ... that we must value, respect and protect.

Long live the diversity of species and that humans learn once and for all to respect life.

Dejémosles vivir... son maravillas de la Naturaleza... que debemos valorar, respetar y proteger.

Que viva la diversidad de especies y que el humano aprenda de una vez por todas a respetar la vida.
