Art in nature 🎋

On my recent walk around the Botanic Gardens, I was struck by the patterns created by tangled foliage, which reminded me of veins or capillaries 💭

The beautiful, cold light of the winter sun shone on this crop of bamboo stems to create a vivid image of symmetry ☀️

The deep, vibrant red of these tangled stems in the winter garden with evergreen foliage in the background really warmed our spirits ❄️
