A Coloured Impression of 'Rango' as portrayed by Johnny Depp
Few weeks back I saw @piotrgrafik's painting of a chameleon with an added bonus of a clip of one of my favourite Matt Groening's characters Bender featured on the ArtVenture Magazine No. 374 and I just couldn't help my memory as it went back to 2011 where a very epic yet interesting plot was unveiled to the world.
This plot was spear headed by one of Hollywood's best impressionists 'Johnny Depp'.
It's title, Rango.
It's by far one of the best plots I've ever seen. A complete satire, more like George Orwell's fable. Only with a western setting.
My favourite part of the movie was where he mistakenly killed the hawk and was told that 'Rattlesnake Jake' would come to town and he said that it was no problem at all. Then the young lad before him replied "That's what Sheriff Amos said". And he was like "who is Sheriff Amos".
Just then Sheriff Amos was introduced to us as a tombstone with the inscription 'Thursday - Saturday.'...lol..
I got me some pictures of this character, then my set of coloured pencils and after three days of tearful shades, I was done. It took three days cause I was really ill last week and could barely hold the pen so I took turns while making it (a short 5 minutes here and another there).
Here's where I leave you with it
....the drawing procedures....
It's always a pleasure hosting you,
Thanks for the visit.
