Dugouts in Leskovo. Part 1

I started photographing cellars as intensively as I am now in early 2023. By the middle of that year, I had already traveled to quite a few nearby towns and villages. Before each trip, I study the satellite map for the presence of dugouts. I didn't find them in Leskovo, but I came anyway to capture the night courtyard spaces.

And a couple of days ago, I accidentally looked at the map and found the cellars there.

I tried to remember the route of that walk and it turned out that I did not reach them ten meters!

It seemed to me that there was nothing more interesting and I turned in the other direction.

But I had to walk quite a bit and I would have seen a cluster of vegetable storages.

It's very strange that I didn't see them from the road.

Perhaps they were covered with tall grass in the summer.

The vegetable storages in Leskovo are located on Zelenaya Street near the intersection with Solnechnaya Street.

More than half of the structures are abandoned, but there is still a path to some of them.

In this place, I met three different types of cellar dugouts: bulk - when the door in the mound leads directly to the vegetable storage; with a square shed above the pit; and my favorite type – with a triangular shed.

Their arrangement is chaotic, not in a row.

I was glad that there were light sources nearby, otherwise I would have to highlight the dugouts with a smartphone flashlight.

And yet, how could I not see and recognize them for so long?

After all, I have studied the Leskovo map several times!

I used to watch only the Yandex maps and Google now discovered maps Bing.

Bing is a very detailed and high–quality satellite map, but there is a problem – the maps are outdated.

Google has the most up-to-date images, but the quality suffers there.

Yandex is in the middle.

In general, everything is very strange and at the same time interesting.

So I want to revisit other places, but I don't think I'll find much anywhere.
