Drinks also included... I can barely find any fizzy drinks in glass bottles, of course, cans are everywhere. Beer in my country is mostly sold in plastic bottles too - 1l, 2l, 2.5l. I hate how it tastes, and the type of the plastic is single usage so I am sure it emits some poisons... The same brand of beer in cans or glass bottles is much better. I don't drink much but I like how wines and beers taste.
Have you tried to roast a chicken with beer, salt and grinded black pepper only? Beer makes its aroma unique ;)
Sometimes, the only liquid I have for weeks is water which also usually comes in plastic cans unless one has direct access to clean water at home. I'm not a fan of beverages
I'm sure it does. I come across a lot of red wine recipes too online. But I don't consume alcohol.
I understand that, my girlfriend rarely drinks alcohol and I hate drinking alone, we also think soft-drinks aren't good for the health, especially those with added sugars.
I love to cook with beer and wine, the alcohol is generally gone just after a few minutes of cooking but it does wonders with some types of meat and vegetables.
I also add 5-10 ml of cognac or rum, or another highly aromatic drink into the cakes I bake :)
I think it's time I have a dedicated cooking account, but strangely, I don't like to take photos while I cook.
I didn't know a pro photographer knows how to cook. You should share your culinary skills sometimes. I also don't like to take photos while cooking though.
Oh, I cook almost every day, the pandemic made that quite a regular activity :)
I guess I suck at multitasking as taking photos while cooking will take my mind away from it, or at least slow it down. Lately I experiment more and more, I really enjoy that. I have to admit I've been thinking about having a new blog here just to share my favorite recipes, so they are all at one place, better preserved than the desktop of my pc where they are all at the moment :) Thank you!
That's a wonderful idea. I have also shared a few recipes here and I come back to those from time to time.
