Visiting the Ceibas - 50% rewards for Uganda
In recent days I walked from my house to buy food to the popular market, I walked back, on the way I found a very large sheet of wood, on the way back I had my mind fixed on the animals that live in the park and the kapok trees, I decided to continue heading to the park loaded with food and the sheet of wood.
When I arrived at the park I walked directly to where the ceibas were to check their condition. I poured little water on them because I was already a little tired with the weight of the food and the sun warming my back.
This Ceiba is the third that I managed to transplant in this same place, the previous two were uprooted and disappeared from the place without any explanation or logical reason.
I will be telling this story in two parts, in the second part I am going to explain where I left the sheet of wood and the surprise I found in the animal area.
I dedicated myself to planting thorny cacti around it to protect it, I also made a circle of large stones and then I added a lot of soil to those stones to protect the cacti from the weeding machines.
The area that I chose to grow these ceibas is a somewhat xeric place, in times of drought I dedicate myself to bringing them enough water at least once a week, I also dedicate myself to cutting the bush that grows around them. It has been between four and seven years that I have undertaken this ecological activity as a life challenge, I already wish that the ceibas would finish growing enough to relieve me of the responsibility of bringing them water, in this area many plants have been planted in ecological days, but After three months, plants without water dry out, appear sunburned, and then die.
Behind a university within the same park I have another Ceiba tree, this year I made two circular canals to retain more water, the result was that the ceiba began to grow faster.
Behind the ceiba tree, on the left you can see a small house without walls, the cats hang out there, this is the story I will tell in the next post.
All photographs, images and designs that appear on my blog belong to me, they were taken with my cell phone camera, screenshots and design software, I am contributing 60% of the profits to social works (10% @wox-helpfund and 50% @elkezaksek).
