Moringa for the education of Uganda Part 2 - 50% rewards

in WORLD OF XPILAR23 days ago
The scientific name of Moringa is Moringa oleifera, originally from India it has spread to many countries, in this post I am going to present its leaves and pods as well as its nutritional properties.

The leaves are small, it is not necessary to damage the tree to collect its leaves. When they are collected, it is preferable to wash them with water immediately and put them to dry in an airy area or under the sun. I prefer to place them inside a strainer that is used in the kitchen and cover it so that they are not affected by any insects.

If you leave the leaves in a bag for two days they will be damaged, they are very sensitive to humidity and heat, so they rot and thus cannot be used.

When the moringa leaves are dry, you can crush them to package them as powder or you can store them naturally but already dried. This way you can add a small amount to meat stews, sauces and soups, but the secret is to add them 10 minutes before turning off the heat. This secret is so that the nutrients in Moringa do not evaporate since they are volatile.

A few years ago I saw a video where some scientists carried out a study on the effect of moringa on the school performance of some African children, you can search for that video on YouTube, everything I indicate in this post and in the previous one has already been scientifically proven.

In Africa you can get Moringa trees, so it would be a good food alternative for the people of Uganda. It is said that a small portion of Moringa has more calcium than milk, is antibacterial and its seeds are used in India to purify water.

What you have to keep in mind is that Moringa lowers blood sugar and accelerates metabolism, helping to burn body fat.

Here I show you the pods with their seeds and the dry leaves
