Hola amigos, espero estén muy bien… Hello friends, I hope you are very well...
In recent days it has been raining and because of that, as soon as it gets dark, a variety of somewhat annoying insects begin to arrive; ants of various types and sizes as well as various types of coleoptera, that is to say the popular beetles, I could tell you that every night I see a different kind and I wanted to know how many varieties of these insects there are, but I was surprised to see on the wiki it says that there are more than 375,000 varieties. Most are very common but the rhinoceros beetle is not that common, it costs a lot to see one of these.
There are those who call them a bull beetle, but I comment that even if they compare this insect with a bull or rhinoceros it is completely harmless, I still remember the reaction of a man when he saw one of these in my hand, I came from school accompanied by my father. When the man saw the beetle in my hand, he jumped up and shouted watch out girl, watch out; I managed to get scared a lot until I realized that it was because of the beetle and I told him he does nothing, the man kept insisting that he be careful because that was a very poisonous insect.
What if I have to be careful is not to put my fingers between the horns, especially in those that have them a little bigger; oh and another fundamental rule is to wash my hands well after touching them since they are the greatest collaborators in the recycling of organic matter in our environment. So they are not that clean.
I have read comments about the meaning of a beetle entering the house, but whoever wants to know why they enter can see the Wreck-It Ralph movie, insects follow the light to orient themselves, only they should not follow the lights of our houses but the of the moon but they end up butting their heads with our lamps.
Another thing that I learned by reading a little on the wiki is that, in general, those with the largest horns are the males since they use them in fighting rituals to win the right to have a partner and even more surprising is that they can lift up to 850 times its own weight.
Interesting! I learned something new. :)
Hello @tangosierra1086, I'm glad you like it...
Thanks for comment. Happy afternoon.
