I must say , you have a pretty kid sister,the resemblance is clear,
You doesnt actually look like one who does such number of push up, i know one when i see.... smiles....
You are indeed working hard towards onboarding the targeted number of newbies , this friend of yours , have you really been following her up on that or she accepted the first time you told her, i wonder how you convince them to join because i have to talk and talk before people can even ask me what the steemit is all about,

Hahaha @dlioness. It was really a great day. Well, I do push-ups more than 250, but I have been terribly inconsistent, so my muscles are flat now and weak.
Well for talking to people about Steemit, I start from my closest friends. So I ask them how much they make from updating there WhatsApp status or posting from Facebook. The answer is usually nothing. So I tell them that there is a social media platform that pays you $$$ to do what you do on Facebook. Then I ask them to check out and see how much people are earning. I send them a link of one of the trending communties.
Then I promise to train them and show them how it works. I also tell them I earn reasonably every week. I have been using this method mad it works.
Sorry about the half meal, I will do a full meal next time.

I think i have to apply your method of onboarding people to mine too
