The waters stretch, so calm, so wide,
A silent giant with nothing to hide.
Yet, beneath its still and endless gaze,
Are secrets lost in ancient days.

The stones now sink, their voices fade,
By waters’ will, foundations laid.
Who carved these paths, who walked these lands,
Now swallowed whole by nature’s hands..
