These wars and impending wars makes the world scared and scarred, life is no more but is now so hard
I myself is feeling my own existential threat due to China's aggression towards my country which is shown in the news where it literally bully the small civilian vessels when my country would try to make a re-supply mission to the army detachment made out of world war 2 vessel to tell China and the world that it is a territory of my country. Now China is claiming the whole of west Philippine sea as if it was its own where geographically it is impossible to see that even with a common sense because it includes the seas of all countries bordering near the south China sea. The name south China sea doesn't mean that it belongs to China, it just means that it is a part of the sea located way down from China's coast. What I know about that sea is that it was used by Chinese merchants a long-long time ago to trade with the Philippines with its goods. Some of these merchants stayed and married Filipino citizens which is why some of Filipinos have a mixed blood with Chinese so they were called "Chinese Mestizos/Mestizas" characterized by a much beautiful offspring with a lighter skin and subtle Chinese features. Now some of these Chinese have dominated the business sector of my country and they are well known for their contribution to the big business which are still up until today. However the most dominant ones are the Ayala family which helped my country in many ways like improving the business sector. Their wealth is not passed to the next generation but rather they delegate tasks to some of the family members, not a single one of them can just make a sole decision to "sell" their businesses but rather just to continuously earn from it if not improve it more. It is the reason why their business model had survived and continued to thrive here in my country and give great contributions to my country's economy but second only the contributions of every Filipino overseas worker which sends billions of Pesos which makes this country's economy to be afloat and not crash like other countries although our economy now is being beaten like the rest of the world by inflation.
My country has a lot of economic issues to contend with so basically all sectors of society now are affected due to inflation alone. The cost of everything is unimaginably so high that I seldom think of buying the stuffs that I even need, so only the rich really can survive in this country well enough and those that can work particularly if they make their own business. Luckily the ease of communication technology is helping common people for advertising their businesses through social media like "Facebook Marketplace" and cater to customers near and far depending on their capability to deliver goods and services. The customers are weirdly enough happy to buy and use these services if they are good in quality plus if they come with a delivery or home services. So because of the ease of doing a rather "informal sector" type of business, may people's lives are improved so much that it makes them rich in the process if not elevating their financial status considerably with a better power to buy their own wants and needs. However, all of these will come to a screeching halt if there would be war with China because being an ally with the US government, my country will sadly get involved directly to confront China if it would choose to invade Taiwan. The US government will not let that happen as getting Taiwan to be ruled by Chinese government will affect the sort of "balance of power" in this region which means that not only China would take hold of the cutting-edge technology of making semiconductor "chips" but also will make China take hold of the shipping lanes for its own selfish interests. It will also mean that China will bully my country more if not invade it too and make our country like it was another Uyghur province and I can only imagine the autocratic control which my fellow citizen would suffer and definitely it is better to die than to have our freedom cut by communists.
I really think that we are in the era of self-destruction because we can already feel the economic hardships because of the incessant money-printing that it cannot even be replicated by nature, so these numbers on the screen is one of the big factors that are killing us slowly which is why there are wars happening for the reason that countries are trying to cope with the "trying times" so that their society will somewhat not fall if their gamble of taking over another country will be a victory. These countries are ready to fight to the death so much that they are willing to win just for them to get an upper-hand about getting more power and resources and be the king of the world. Of course there are more complicated reasons why countries are fighting each other like one proponent is religion, ideologies, fantasies, self-preservation, economic power, control over other nations, combatting inflation, and all that I cannot think about or enumerate. It is a total chaos and we can feel it already and will become worse for sure. I am not ready for the worse things to come and I am fearful that one day the war with China will happen in the next few years until the next world war 4 will be fought by sticks and stones. That is why I am cherishing the moment now while I am still alive because life is still livable and that I trust God that the future will still hold relatively better for all of us. I just hope that I will be more prepared when bad eventualities happens but considering my situation I really do not deserve anymore hardships compared to what I am already in right now. So let us all turn to God before anything gets more awful and pray to him to not allow communism dominate humanity or else there will be no more freedom anymore particularly freedom of religion.
