I felt some level of exhaustion yesterday after my dialysis treatment and I always look forward in feeling it specifically after my treatments because it will mean that I will sleep much better afterwards. So after getting home and eating and then seeing the markets crash, I just fought the feelings of buy high and sell low and watch some YouTube videos.

I get bored right before sundown and decided to sleep since I feel tired already. I used a new dialyzer yesterday and that quite cleaned my blood compared to the re-used dialyzer days. I really like to go home exhausted and hungry although yesterday I was not that hungry and still tried to eat my post-dialysis meal which is just some fried meat pieces over rice and some gravy slathered unto it.

Then I dozed-off since my body is calling for it. I did woke-up in intervals and intermittent sleep behavior just plagued me ever since anemia struck me a few years before my Kidneys conked-out on me. I had been suffering from insomnia about three years before I had my first dialysis session on December 1. 2001 and afterwards my sleeping behavior wasn't the same anymore and I am glad that I survived it because there are many days that I cannot really sleep until my eyes hurt by trying to shut my eyelids so that I can at least have some minutes of sleep time.

I thank God that those days had been a thing of the past, I mean the dreaded insomnia because some patients doesn't know how to deal with it, much less the nurses who do not experience it which is why they too can't help unless they refer to the Nephrologist which would give unnecessary sleeping pills to the patient whereas the root cause should be addressed rather than the symptom which is anemia and fluid overload.

As for me, having learned the clue on how why things happen in my body had made me able to at least control the situation with some difficulties of course especially during the times that I am penniless because I just used self-control and discipline most of the time rather than fought things with medicine and supplements although I could have been in a better health condition if I was able to patch my medical needs with money which I do not have before. However now that I have the finances to at least make some changes, the said changes are now impossible to achieve, they had been already too little too late to change anymore.

Anyway, I had a lot of dreams yesterday and I can say that some of them were just a mirror of what I previously was thinking or even what I saw lately. It is kind if a natural entertainment for me but I am always glad to wake-up and realize that it was all a dream. Funnily but worrisome at the same time, one dream is about my new phone not being the same as if someone had changed it because it is all flimsy and bending like you would hold a piece of plastic and I was very frustrated and angry about it and telling everyone around to hand me my real camera phone back. Then I woke up and looked at my phone beside me and that gave me a sense of relief. Afterwards I went back to sleep because it was just past eight in the evening.

After some few consecutive awakenings I decided to open my laptop to again watch some YouTube videos and then I went back to get some more sleep until I woke up again past 4:30 in the early morning, a time way too early for me to wake-up in my younger years before anemia and insomnia plagued me for most of my living existence. Now, sleeping like a baby is just a far away fantasy for me to achieve and I envy always the people who sleeps like eight hours straight because it is a gift that not everyone enjoys particularly dialysis patients.
