Weekly Contest, "Creating Short Story Week #29". .(ckole and the snake)
I'm super excited to join this contest anchored by @adeljose. It's all about writing a story using a real image. Isn't that fantastic? We only need to be creative. That's what the contest is all about. Here is my story. Please stay connected.
Ckole always poses himself to be bold and fearless. He shouts it all the time as if he's the only bold guy o the planet. But an author by the name Mike Yaconelli said "Boldness is quiet, not noisy". That is not the case with ckole. He portrays himself everywhere as brave and bold. He harks back to the things he did in the past almost all the time and explain how he always practice mettle during difficult times
One day, he went into the wood with one of his friends. Their aim was to pluck some cashew and take some pictures. When they got to the wood, they moved from one tree to another plucking and eating cashew and at the same time taking pictures
Now, ckole was on the tree trying to have his way far to the top pluck a ripe cahew and his friend was down taking pictures. A snake silently crawled from one of the branches and hide behind him. The snake had plenary power over ckole because it has settled at his back balanced to strike if he makes any funny move. Ckole was't aware of anything, but even if he suddenly sight the snake, he should attack and kill it instantly because he's bold and fearless
The snake didn't move at that spot. It sat quietly as if it was waiting for ckole to come closer so that it can strike in between his legs and bite his scrotum. I wonder why the snake would position in such manner. Maybe that was what it was thinking. But if the snake really planned to bite ckole's scrotum, then we would see a real fight between the brave and bold ckole, and the snake
As ckole claimed down from the tree, the snake thought within itself . "A strike at the scrotum will enervate him. I need to hit the target
On a good day, snakes dont wait to strike. It only attack when we try to kill it. The snake should have run away when it saw ckole climbing but instead, it positioned itself to feast on his scrotum. I guess the snake must have eavedropped ckoles personal boldness and bravery appraisals
When ckole balanced on one of the branches close to the snake, the snake raised its head up trying to locate an opening through ckoles tigh. Unfortunately for the snake, ckole looked back and saw the big snake about to feed on his scrotum. He shouted and jumped from the tree before the snake could reach for his scrotum. When he landed, he took to his heel. The snake also jumped and chased him and ckoles friend ran after the snake with a big stick he picked from the ground. Should we call this fire on the mountain or snake and ckole relay? It's quite funny how the brave and fearless ckole would run 440 seeing an ordinary snake
At last, his friend killed the snake. Ckole begged him not to expose him to their other friends and neighbours but he didn't listen. He exposed him and theg all laughed till they culdn't laugh anymore
This is ckole the laughing gas.

Greetings my friend @ckole
Interesting story about a vain man who shows fear in an amazing way in the presence of a simple snake, exposing his lack of courage in front of everyone.
Thank you for your entry to the contest.
