Weekly Contest, "Creating Short Story Week # 2".From friends to lovers

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is great.
Great thanks goes to the @adeljose for this wonderful contest.
My first year in the university was really fun and exciting, since I was still a freshmen in the area, so I had a male cousin who was one year in school ahead of me, so we live in one cite and our doors next to one another.
So he had his friends who saw me for the first time and was kind of captivated to me but I never really had their time. My cousin had a friend named Arnaud, he was fair and slim.
Our first encounter wasn't quite interesting because, we were still to get along with one another, and as months, past we became friends and I enjoyed the friendship because he was so caring and simple. After being friends with him for about 6 months in my first year in the university.
There was a day he came to my place and actually I wasn't feeling too well, so he took care of me, after some minutes I slept off, when I wake up, I was feeling more better, so we were chatting and he loves using this slight towards me you are my future wife"all this guys around you are just joking" and I will be like you sound ridiculous and we will laugh together.

One day to my greatest surprise, he confessed to me saying he has feelings for me not just as a friend and I was like,this is ridiculous, because all these scenario is always on movies and so on but it was actually happening in my life.
However, we discussed on it and the academic year was over, but we kept chatting on phone for about 5months, when my second year in university started, I accepted the guy, from good friends to lovers.

The relationship is quite cool, because I knew him already, so we can work out things smoothly to an extent
