Modern Art | Museum of Modern Art - Barcelona | Still Life | Post Processing | #28
Greetings the fellow people of the WOX community and greetings to the organizer of this contest @bambuka long time no see!
I know I haven’t participated much in this contest for a while, i was quite busy and now I’m getting on track again.
Anyway since the theme of the contest is till life why not posting something artistic this time. I don’t quite remember what was this about, but it was during my time in Barcelona and more particularly the Museum of Modern art Barcelona. This is an art created by some street artist i think his name was Banksy or some sort, anyway I don’t remember what this particular art represents, but it caught my mind so i took a photo of it.
I’m not the most art fan, because everyone has a different perspective of what art is about, but this looks like a cool art to look at and it’s basically a still life, but made into an art. The funny thing is that it reminds me of one of the users on this platform @mister-omortson hey i found your twin. Hehe 😅

Well to some it is to other is not, that’s why i said that everyone has a different perspective of art. 🤷🏻♂️🥴
Hehe... what else I can add. They in Rome said: De gustibus non disputandum est', right? which means exactly that the tastes should not be the subject for discussion. But other (wise) folks have applied a slight correction to this formula, which I totally agree: 'It should be the subject of discussion what the good tastes are'.
But yeah... everybody have their own perspective, their own opinion. Opinions are like asses - everybody have one. 🤷🏻♂️

Yes it is, still life means nature mort right? Basically almost everything we touch and see that was made by a human hand was still life. A table, a phone, a vase, almost everything. This is just made under the form of art. That's if what you understand art is, a table can be an art, a vase a telephone etc.
Still life in photography involves not just a photo of an object, but some kind of composition that makes sense. But I may be wrong ;)
Tell me what exactly you don’t see making sense in this photo. How is this photo’s composition any different by other participants who have a telephone, a cup or even a mint rootstock, which by the way is life, not still life, but anyway. The photo is still life it’s fitting the voice of time, because it directly reminds you of Greece for example, it’s a sculpture. 😌😄
