On the edge - Valuable lessons.

When you go to school they tell you that you go there to get knowledge but in fact knowledge without the ability to correct your mistakes is a road to nowhere.

Knowledge can make some people too self-confident and self-loving as a result they will step over their mistakes and assert their rightness.

I think the most valuable thing in knowledge is the ability to analyze your actions check yourself and your actions try to do better what you do not stop there.

At the beginning of 2016 suddenly the thought of beekeeping came to me.

Yes it's strange because I did not have a plot of land to organize an apiary I had no knowledge about bees and I'm not sure that I can put up with their stingers, lol.

But I began to study this issue at a frantic pace.

I learned everything about beekeeping and apiary organization I know how to make different hive systems their pros and cons but the most valuable thing I learned is the relationship within the bee colony and the relationship between bees and beekeepers.

The beekeeper cannot agree on something with the bees cannot put any conditions on them, or train them.

For success the beekeeper must become a servant of the bees he must be attentive to them monitor the well-being of the family for the signs of swarming bees organize the removal of hives to the place of flowering of honey plants and much more that will give a large harvest of honey.

Apiary this is the place where mistakes are not forgiven more precisely you need to correct mistakes in time to avoid fatal mistakes.

Bees in this regard are ruthless both to their fellows and to the beekeeper.

If you take off the protective net and gloves lie down or sit next to the bee hive to watch the life of the bees you entrust your decision to the bees who are pleased with the way you take care of them.

After all if the bees don't need anything and are happy with everything they don't have time to pay attention to whoever is near their home.

I decided to depict such a respectful relationship between bees and humans in a drawing in the course of which I had to work on my mistakes.

I worked on the drawing with graphite pencils on A5 paper.

I'm sure you would never make mistakes like me when drawing but I want to draw some attention to such points.

Pay attention to the position of the beekeeper's right hand.

Drawing from your imagination, sometimes it is difficult to understand how this or that part of the body will be located apparently thoughts can be mirrored, lol.

The most annoying thing is that I saw the mistake when I had already drawn a portrait which I worked hard on and I had to use an eraser.

It hurt but it had to be done it's like dealing with angry bees.

After correcting one mistake I made the following mistake.

Yes it seemed to me that with this position of the hand a couple of fingertips would be visible but this is not so.

In the end I put a large mirror on the floor and took a position like a beekeeper lying on his stomach.

Only then I saw how the hands really look in this position.

Another funny moment.

I tried to draw a portrait of myself from memory and in the end I got a portrait of my grandfather with the only difference being that he never had a beard like me.

Although there is one more difference my grandfather was really a beekeeper and I in this matter am only a dreamer at the moment.

But these dreams teach me to live on the edge.
