The snowfall started quickly. I looked out the window and saw a white veil. First, I took some pictures from the 8th floor. But how can you sit at home in such weather. Of course, I took my faithful friend the camera and we went on a trip.
Already when processing the photo, the idea came to my mind to try to age them. First, in Lightroom, I switched them to black and white, and then applied a few adjustments to the Snapseed program. It's been a little time travel.
Снегопад начался быстро. Я выглянул в окно и увидел белую пелену. Вначале я сделал несколько снимков с высоты 8 этажа. Но разве можно усидеть дома в такую погоду. Конечно, я взял моего верного друга камеру и мы отправились в путешествие.
Уже при обработке фото мне пришла в голову мысль попробовать их состарить. Вначале в Лайтрум я перевёл их в чёрно-белый режим, а затем применил несколько настроек программы Snapseed. Получилось небольшое путешествие во времени.
The lens I shot with has a slight vintage toning on its own. This is an old cinema lens from professional cinema optics (150mm). But still, the use of processing enhances the sense of time.
Объектив, которым я снимал, сам по себе даёт лёгкое винтажное тонирование. Это старый кино объектив от профессиональной кино оптики (150 мм). Но всё же применение обработки усиливает ощущение времени.
I made a homemade lens hood for this lens - a black tube about 30 cm long. Otherwise, this lens catches a lot of stray glare and we get a matte spot in the center of the photo. It looks like I overdid it with the length ... vignetting appeared in the corners. For some plots, this is even good, but most likely I will shorten this tube.
Я сделал самодельную бленду для этого объектива - чёрный тубус длиной примерно 30 см. Иначе этот объектив ловит много паразитных бликов и в центре фото мы получаем матовое пятно. Похоже я перестарался с длиной...появилось виньетирование по углам. Для некоторых сюжетов это даже хорошо, но скорее всего я этот тубус укорочу.

Обработка того стоила. Не воспринимаю её, правда, как состаренное, всё очень актуально, да и артефакты не дадут тут слукавить(одежда прохожих, машины). Скорее, снимки выглядят атмосферно-точно передают ощущения февральской непогоды.
Объектив уж больно хитрый. После него в Лайтрум фото обрабатываются совершенно иначе, чем после современных стёкол. Даже не знаю, чем это объяснить. Вот не ложилось состаривание по той программе, хоть тресни, но определённую атмосферу создали))

I really like picture 1 and 2. The patterns of the snowflakes on the dark coats. It's not easy to capture snowflakes.
to catch them you need to set the shutter speed to 1/80 or faster. And a telephoto lens is desirable, it compresses space.
