About post-processing

Sometimes you look at a photo and there is a desire to delete it in the trash. While walking, it happens that you look at something, you like it and you just press the button to leave it as a souvenir. You feel some emotions at the same time and this photo means something to you.

But when you open this folder and start looking for something to show your friends and subscribers, you discover that half of it may not be interesting to them. People weren't near you during the shooting...
Of course, you can start broad explanations, but after all, the photo itself should tell about something.

I took this photo in the background light because I managed to combine the sun and the lantern. Otherwise, this is quite a passing shot. But I felt sorry to throw it away and I decided to work with it.

Иногда смотришь на фотографию и появляется желание удалить её в корзину. Во время прогулки бывает так, что ты смотришь на что-то, оно тебе нравится и ты просто нажимаешь на кнопку, чтобы оставить это на память. Ты испытываешь при этом какие-то эмоции и это фото для тебя что-то значит.

Но открывая эту папку и начиная искать что-то, что можно показать своим друзьям и подписчикам, ты обнаруживаешь, что половина может быть им неинтересна. Люди не были рядом с тобой во время съёмки...
Конечно, ты можешь начинать широкие объяснения, но ведь фотография должна и сама о чём-то рассказывать.

Это фото в контровом свете я делал потому, что мне удалось совместить солнце и фонарь. В остальном это вполне проходной снимок. Но мне стало жалко его выбрасывать и я решил с ним поработать.

Больше света и меньше деталей...

Here I wanted to see what it would look like on an old film photograph. I don't know how much I managed it, but the picture looks modern))

The work was reduced to the search for shades and the construction of a vignette. I don't mention basic exposure correction and horizon alignment. These procedures are too obvious.

Здесь мне захотелось посмотреть, как бы это выглядело на старой плёночной фотографии. Не знаю, насколько мне это удалось, но снимок выглядит современным))

Работа свелась к поиску оттенков и построению виньетки. Я не упоминаю базовую коррекцию экспозиции и выравнивание горизонта. Эти процедуры слишком очевидны.

I liked this result. I think these settings may be useful to me in future work. To use them in the future, I saved them as a new preset. In the last photo, I just applied that preset.

And yet ... a couple of words about that hare who accidentally (and how else ...) jumped into the middle of the post. This is not a spring flood of the river and the hare is not saved from the flood. He just lives here. Do you know why? It's just that the island I was going to is called Hare Island and this character is his... guards. Otherwise, why else stand here.
