Agluonenai Hill - A Visual Story (12 Photos)
Last weekend we were shooting the Christening ceremony at one of Klaipeda Churches and then moved to afterparty to nearby small Agluonenai town. All the action happened to be at Agluonenai park, which appeared to be pretty interesting location with the main sightseeing - The Hill of Agluonenai with recently build quite traditional Lithuanian sculpture on the top of the hill and dedicated to 475 years anniversary of the town
The Columns of Gediminas appeared to be one of the earliest symbols of Lithuania used initially as ruler's personal insignia and state symbol. Later on it turned out to be a part of heraldic sighns of leading aristocracy.
Presently it is used as main Lithuanian Republic state symbol, which you can find on flags, coins, etc
That was quite a moody and partially rainy day. But too a chance just to walk around and to make few shots with I-Phone 11 wide angle lens. Unfortunately was still a bit rainy to use the drone, pity
Anyway, all looks pretty cool. So enjoy the visuals!
