Happy Thursday Everyone! Today, I decided to sketch the IT clown on a balck piece of paper with white colored pencil. I know that Halloween is still far away but it is my favourite time of the year if you can't tell already. For this post, I was inspired by the horror movie IT. If you have not watched the movie, there are two parts to the movie. I enjoyed the horror movie a lot.
For today's sketch, I first drew an outline of the clown's face, ears, hair and neck. Next, I decided to add more detail to the face with the eyes, nose, mouth and teeth. I wanted to make these parts stand out so I pressed harder with my colored white pencil. I also used medium and light strokes with my white colored pencil to complete the hair and neck.
Finally, I wanted to add some more colour so I used a red colored pencil to color some of the clowns hair, eyes, nose, mouth, ears and neck. I added some buttons as well for more detail. I hope you like my drawing. Thanks for stopping by!
