The Mourner and the Candle on Granite (the next step in my training)
When learning to engrave on granite (as in any other business), you need to move from simple to complex.
If you remember, I started with flowers (I made a post about this), and now I moved on to objects and people.
So let's start with a candle!
First, I drew an outline, and then I brightened the candle itself with a needle beam ...
I created a halo around the flame, and then with an engraving machine, I worked on the candlestick (it turned out to be the most complex and rich in details).
With the grieving one, the beginning is the same. First, draw a contour,
then I mark the most important points with a corrector.
I tap the most extensive places with a needle bunch.
I also work out the face as much as possible with a needle bunch.
Then I use an engraving machine to clean all the details of the face and clothes.
And in the end, the work can already be handed over) Perhaps the photo does not convey this, but it turned out pretty good for the first time ...
Well, that's all for today, thanks for visiting my post, I hope you enjoyed it and I look forward to your support!)
Take care of yourself and your loved ones and see you soon!
