Another species of morels (as it turned out, widespread in our steppes) - Morchella steppicola

Before, I didn't harvest these mushrooms because my parents didn't pick them, and I thought it was some kind of false morel ...

But recently I found out that this is a very tasty and good mushroom, so I went on a mushroom hunt)

This year I was a little late, as people have been picking these mushrooms for a couple of weeks, and I had to contemplate hundreds of holes from recently picked mushrooms ... (

But still I managed to collect some harvest)

Some were old and slightly dry, and some were just beginning to emerge from the ground ...

And this fact makes me very happy, because if it will rain soon, there will be a new good harvest!

After all, these mushrooms will still grow all May!)

Returning to the car, I noticed that I had made a very successful stop!)
