Antonio Placido Guillermo Gaudi y Cornet is a great Catalan architect who started building the Sagrada Familia or the Redemptive Sagrada Familia and built many more beautiful houses in Barcelona.
But today I want to show not the great creations of this architect, many of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
In Vyatka province (Kirov region) there was a wonderful architect Charushin Ivan Apollonovich. He was born 10 years later than Gaudi and lived almost 20 years longer. We can say that he built the main beautiful buildings before 1917. They were mainly Orthodox churches, temples and cathedrals., a Catholic church, houses of rich merchants. These houses are completely different from the main architecture of the city. In one of these houses there is now a dining room in the working village of Vakhrushi. This is simply blasphemy! Another house in the center of Kirov is occupied by the FSB. They occupied it right after the October Revolution.
I have never photographed the FSB building. There were enthusiasts who asked for the transfer of this building for general use, to make a house museum. Of course, they were refused. And this has not been discussed for several years.
According to the projects of this architect, more than 500 buildings were built in the Pre-Ural region.
This house was built in 1908. The merchant Nikolai Afanasyevich Vakhrushev, the owner of a shoe factory located in the village of Vakhrushi, 25 km east of Kirov, lived there.
This is a water tower in Slobodskoy. This city is located 35 km east of Kirov.
The tower was made in the Neo-Gothic style in 1912 with the money of merchants and citizens of the city. Probably, this style was the most favorite of the architect Charushin.
Already in Soviet times, a three-storey building was attached to the tower. This building was made in the same style with the tower and was of the same color. The office of the Pension Fund of Russia is located in this building. A few years ago, a Moscow official did not like the boring color of the building and he said to paint it in a cheerful color. Now it turned out such an ugliness.
The tower building has been in disrepair since the 90s of the last century, because in Soviet times the city Administration did not pay due attention to the building. 2 years ago, there was a person who bought the building and is now engaged in its restoration. Volunteers help him.
A group dedicated to this tower has been created in social networks. In it, people talk about the work being done, about future plans. the building is supposed to create a museum dedicated to the architect Charushin.
I think it's a great idea.
Thank you all very much for your attention.

That is impressive Cathedral in Barcelona, but also nice buildings that you have locally. By the way you should give the some more details for the photos:
ok. I have added additional information on the photos.
Wow, the first building is breathtaking!
Lovely photos.
The first building is a landmark of Barcelona!
The photo you took of it amazing. That is a great photography.
