For me, label/tag is important so your readers or curators could find your post easily on steemit.
For example, we in Newcomers' Community have a program for newcomers that we called, Newcomers Achievement Program.
In order for our curators for each achievement task to find the post fo specific achievement, the newcomers have to put the specific achievement tasks' tag, here we make it #achievement1 for their achievement 1 tag.
This makes curators work easier and also for other readers to see the post that related to the Achievement 1 task.
Another advantage to have relevant and related to your content tags/label is so the community members can sort out content that they want to see/look for.

For example, if they want to read/look for content regarding art, they can just look for the tag #art in the search bar, for example, I provided the "How to search with a tag on steemit " below
I hope this helps with the importance of label/tag on your content in steemit. Just try to not putting unrelated tag to your content to attract curators, unless they allow you to do so.

Hola como estas @adeljose para mi es importante este tema quisiera saber cuales son las etiquetas que comúnmente pudiéramos usar, me paso en una publicación de matemática ya que esa es mi área y la de programación y cuando leo lo de cada comunidad coloque la etiqueta del proyecto hope y me lo colocaron invisible si escribo un articulo de programación en matemática que es mi área cuales etiquetas debo usar me canso de revisar la plataforma y no veo que ninguna comunidad se relacione con mi área.
Saludos amiga @clavel, no estoy de acuerdo en que silencien a una publicación sin antes no ser advertido el usuario del error incurrido, con no dar los votos positivos y dejar un comentario diciendo que no utilice esa etiqueta, es más que suficiente para la primera vez.
Para este tipo de contenido puedes utilizar la etiqueta #Study o #knowledge, las cuales deben ser sugeridas al equipo de @steemitblog para ser anexada en la lista para el nuevo proyecto de curación.,

Hola @adeljose como estas, este me parece un tema interesante el de las etiquetas, hay que utilizar las etiquetas adecuadas para nuestras publicaciones y que estén acorde a lo que queremos en una comunidad.
No debemos de poner etiquetas que nuestro contenido no estén acorde con lo escrito o con la comunidad a la que queremos que lea nuestro artículo.
Me parece que debemos aprender mas sobre este tema para poder usarlas las etiquetas muy bien.

Hey thank you for the mention my friend @adeljose, the use of labels (hashtags) are very important as it makes locating of write-ups very easy. Take the world of football community's newest art contest they're organizing as an example, if you don't use labels such as #worldoffootball and #steemfootball, your post will be mixed among many other posts which are not of interest.
Perhaps your content might have been good, but this stunt might just lose you your chance at the prize.
Most communities and challenges here on steem have their specified labels meant for users to use. It is therefore pertinent that we adhere to such rules for the sake of effective communication which goes a long way to add value to steem as an ecosystem.

Each community, each project or each activity carries a hashtag to be reviewed and evaluated by those who are interested in such content.
