Trail versus Delegations
A trail will normally provide support to multiple users and the users who support the trail will also be rewarded from their votes.
But those who have a very low SP who are in the trail will hardly get any reward as their strength does not give enough to pay off
At today's price of steem you must have 700 SP and be fully charged at 100% then Vote Vote Amount will give $ 0.01 below it can be calculated as dust. However, if more people vote for the same post with the same force, the dust will grow and become visible from $ 0.01 and slightly up.
World of Xpilar Community Curation has 152 registered accounts in the trail. But only between 40 and 60 accounts have power and become visible by voting from the trail. The rest have very little SP and rarely have between 80% to 100% power. And in the settings on the trail is normally set to not give a voice when it is below 70%. That is why it is often the case that they are never given any votes. And many of them have also put their vote% between 20% 50%.
Delegations
Borrowing SP is smart for those who want to have a greater power and to be able to give votes. You can lease SP on the open market in advance. The landlord then receives an agreed price for delegates and in addition, the landlord receives an APR of approximately 4.35%, from SP which is rented out. The tenant is the one who rewards from votes from the tenant SP.
It is always a calculation if it is profitable to rent SP, but as I said, it gives you greater strength. Renting from the market is Average APR: 23.54%. that is, if you rent 5000 SP for 4 weeks, it costs about 120 Steem.
Greetings friend @xpilar.
Excellent your participation, your comment could be considered as advantages and disadvantages of each of these support strategies.
The trail is usually more efficient the higher the SP of the users and the percentage of vote assigned to it. The best thing about the trail is that it promotes the support of all for all, where everyone wins equally and where the main account is only a guide and not a reward center.
On the other hand, the Delegation obtained as a form of rent seems to be not very profitable for those who receive the delegation SPs, it is very important to know these percentages handled to obtain delegations.
We appreciate the contribution of your good participation amigo @xpilar.
I absolutely agree with what you have said, I believe we both tried different stuff since we joined :)
Yes. we have tried most things here :)
Gracias Maestro! 🔺
Your post is manually rewarded by the

Thank you for your support
Ok I have 2 doubts:
1- how much of income we have for delegation of Sp.
2- The delegation income you receive is automatic from the steemit blockchain or the person who receive the delegation has to make daily or weekly a payback manually to his delegator?
Thanks.
1- How much of the income we have from the delegation of Sp.
There are different policies in each case, there are those who offer votes according to the SPs you delegate, there are also those who only offer as profits the healing SPs generated by the amount of the SPs, and a few other communities offer a percentage of distribution of the rewards generated
2- Is the entrance by delegation that you receive automatic from the Steemit blocking chain or does the person receiving the delegation have to make a daily or weekly manual return to his delegate?
Thank you.
The delegation itself, generates a percentage of the SP generated by the account benefited with the delegation, the percentage by healing that you get is added to the amount of the delegation, and you can see it in the wallet.
Thank you very much for your participation in our channel.
Thanks for the answers. It help a lot. Keep steeming
When supporting people using trial is good but there are many people who manually vote and if they are a part of trial they try not to give much otherwise the Upvote Power will be drained out. Giving little if you have little SP is not profitable for both the one who is giving and one who is receiving.
Even in the past when we had @Curie curation, the trial had more than 300 people, but the high upvotes were from @hendrikdegrote because he had 16 Mio, wihtout him the @curie would not be so popular.
Delegation is good but then you have to make sure that you can pay leasing, nowadays to get Sp delegated is almost impossible. Because all big accounts have already delegated to @upvu and @gotogether.
The only thing is to work hard earn SP and then decide what you do :)
Greetings @stef1.
As always, leaving a good participation. It is clear that we need large accounts to generate advances in our SPs and help healing systems to support others.
Well says the friend @xpilar, for the trail to be efficient, it must have a 100% participation of those who join it. and be aware of the votes they use manually.
Thank you for your excellent participation in our channel, @stef1.
