Capturing Flying Tropical Bee

It's time to catch the flying subject! Actually, I missed a lot of shot of this bee, managing to catch it while flying. As we understand, this bee moves quite a lot and I might seek a possible way to catch it. Capturing the flying or moving subject need an extra effort while making sure, the speed was okay to work with that. Even so, I must admit that I am still learning on capturing the moving subject. For me, it was harder than I thought but I did not give up until I managed to do so. I found this brawny black bee when I was in search of another insect in the bush. This big black bee is known as the tropical carpenter bee (Xylocopa latipes) that was scientifically described by the English entomologist, Dru Drury in 1773,and is a member of the group of solitary bees (Family Apidae).
