Why a Group of Four Friends is the Best | From Bowling to Bumber Cars
Many people prefer to travel alone, enjoy solitude, and experience solo adventures fully. They desire freedom to make spontaneous decisions without considering anyone else's choices. On the other hand, some people prefer to roam in large groups. They are interested in social interactions and feel happy when surrounded by many friends. This provides them with a lot of energy, and they are content with their friends.
However, there is something unique and very special about hanging out with just a few close friends—like visiting or going to different places with only 3 to 4 of your friends. This experience is different because it offers a perfect blend of intimacy and fun. It ensures that everyone feels included and valued, and they can share ideas or express their thoughts.
So, it happened that our friend Omer was going out of town due to a family event, and then our university was also having a few days of vacation. Today was our last day, so we thought, why not go out somewhere? My friend Rabia was also in a bad mood for a few days, so we thought, why not go out? So, Omer, my friend, and my two friends Rabia and Ahila, decided to visit Dolmen Mall, a very famous mall in Karachi near Sea View in Clifton. Around 11 in the morning, we reached Dolmen Mall in Omer's car.
Our main purpose for going there was to play bowling, as we had been in the mood for it for many days, but hadn't found the opportunity to go and bowl. So, we got there, bought tickets, and started bowling. As it usually happens, we had been there 3 to 4 times before, and I always ended up in the first position, while Rabia always ended up last. The second and third positions were always contested between Omer and Ahila. As you might guess from our names, they called me "Invincible Abdullah," Omer "Looser Omer," Ahila "Mega Ahila," and Rabia "Noob Rabia." Omer played very well from the start and continued to play well till the end. As you might have guessed, Rabia barely hit any pins. We often make fun of her, but poor Rabia just doesn't know how to bowl. Well, not everyone is perfect in everything. We had a lot of fun bowling, and after that, we thought we'd play a few more indoor games.
So, then we headed towards the indoor games. There, I played the high striker game and achieved the highest score. Omer also gave a strong shot, but I was leading.
We also tried the boxing machine and punching machine. I really felt like playing racing games, so I did that too. It was a lot of fun and brought back childhood memories when I used to drag my dad to let me ride. We had to use up our balance, so we played a lot.
There were bumper cars there, but I wasn’t interested at all because they were very childish. If I bumped into someone, they probably wouldn't even notice. Real dodging cars are where you get jolted, and it’s fun because you can tell when someone hits you. But in these bumper cars, there was so much protection, no vibrations were felt, and it felt insulated. Anyway, my friends and I all got into the bumper cars and enjoyed ourselves. After that, we played some small games here and there and then decided it was time to leave.
We were running a bit late because my friends needed to return to the university by the bus, and we had to reach the university on time. So, we decided not to play any more games and instead get something to eat. We intended to eat at the food court, but since we were late, we thought we'd grab something closer to the university. On the way back, we stopped at Kabab Express where we ordered burgers and broast. It was incredibly hot there, and I felt quite dizzy. We almost fell asleep after placing our order. Omer stayed awake and woke us all up when the food arrived. After eating, we quickly headed back to the university and hurried to catch the bus, so we wouldn’t miss it.

So overall, our day at Dolmen Mall with my close friends was incredibly refreshing and provided a much-needed break from our exhausting daily routine. It was a perfect reminder of how small moments of joy can come from simple pleasures. The happiness from friendly competition, shared experiences, and the fun we had made the day truly memorable. Enjoying a meal together and creating these memories made the day worthwhile. I hope you enjoyed reading my day. Until next time
