Yesterday was an incredibly memorable day as we were invited to a private beach for Essa’s 2nd birthday. It was a 2-hour drive from the city center. We set off from home at 5 PM and arrived an hour before sunset. The most adorable part of the private beach was the absence of security issues and public rush, and it was impeccably clean without a hint of garbage, even from a mile away. The beach was serene, offering a perfect escape from the city's hustle.

Karachi had been experiencing heat waves for the past few days, but yesterday was pleasantly cool. The sun had cooled significantly, and it wasn't hot anymore. Overall, my mood remained good. I took some pictures there.

The biggest problem was that I hadn't planned on swimming and had gone there in jeans and a shirt, unlike everyone else who was dressed in trousers. I felt like the odd one out. Anyway, as I pondered this, we were called for Essa's birthday celebration. Essa is a very adorable baby boy. He doesn't talk much yet, but his hands do a lot of talking, and he has a knack for hitting things. We cut his birthday cake, but like many kids, he got a bit anxious and started crying. Watching Essa play with his toys and the cake reminded me of the innocence and joy of childhood.

Afterward, I returned to the shore. Honestly, I hadn't planned on swimming, but now I really wanted to, despite being limited by my outfit. There were camels and horses on the beach, so naturally, we went riding. I even tried horse riding, but no one took a picture of me, which was strange.

Sitting on the shore and watching the sea has its own unique pleasure. Just looking at it gives you a different kind of energy, cheering you up and lifting your mood. The salty breeze and the sound of waves created a relaxing atmosphere.

By now, everyone, including me, was really hungry. I hadn't eaten anything since noon, so we had a BBQ. There were BBQ dishes, prawns, fish, and biryani. I'm not usually a fan of prawns, but these were amazing. Everything was cooked right there and served hot. Each dish had its own unique taste. The food was truly delicious.

After the meal, everyone started playing games. Both adults and children participated in many games. I must have popped at least 100 balloons myself, showing off my technique. I challenged everyone to poke a balloon with a pin without popping it. They all thought it was impossible until I demonstrated it successfully. Still, no one else could do it. I inserted a needle into a balloon twice, from different points, and it didn't pop. I dare you to make a video of you doing it and reply to my post.

While playing games, we also enjoyed some sweets, and it got pretty late. It was already 10 PM. We were having a lot of fun, but it was time to go home because Essa wasn't feeling well, and my family was eager to get home. As we left the beach, I felt grateful for the moments of joy and togetherness. Essa's birthday will always be a cherished memory of laughter and good times.
