La Gazania strisciante, conosciuta scientificamente come Gazania rigens var. leucolaena, appartiene alla famiglia delle Asteraceae ed è originaria del Sudafrica. Questa pianta è molto apprezzata per la sua fioritura colorata e prolungata, che aggiunge vivacità a giardini, aiuole e bordure.

La Gazania strisciante è una pianta perenne tappezzante che forma cespi bassi e compatti, raggiungendo un'altezza di circa 15-25 cm. Le sue foglie sono lunghe e strette, di colore verde scuro sulla superficie superiore e bianco-grigio su quella inferiore. Le foglie contribuiscono alla resistenza della pianta alla siccità e al calore.

The Creeping Gazania is a perennial groundcover plant that forms low and compact clumps, reaching a height of about 15-25 cm. Its leaves are long and narrow, dark green on the upper surface and white-gray on the underside. The leaves contribute to the plant's resistance to drought and heat.

The flowers of the Gazania are the main attraction of this plant.
