It's a shame... As I wrote before: I am actually resigned that nobody can do anything effective about it - balance the downvotes and wait when the storm has passed... There have already been such episodes that stopped as they started - for no reason.
A question (for programmers & co.): to me this seems like manual action - would a programme also come into question for this? If so, couldn't that be interfered with...?
