📣✨UNFORGETTABLE TRIP✨📣 / We visited Jeju Island's representative columnar joint park! :)
On our way to the airport after finishing our trip to Jeju Island this June, we visited Jusangjeolli(columnar joint) Park. Along the coast, tourist routes were formed along the well-developed columnar joint cliffs, and there were many foreign tourists. As a geology major in my university, I was excited and explained to my children the formation process of volcanoes, lava flows, and columnar joints. Soon other children also gathered and listened to my explanation, and their parents thanked me. I felt so proud without knowing.^^

We walked slowly along the tourist road, appreciated various columnar joints, and took pictures in front of the columnar joint cliff at the end of the tourist road. The columnar joints in Jeju Island were really cool. It must have been a beneficial experience for my children, too.
Finally, we toured the basalt garden. Various grasses and flowers are growing in basalt exposed to the ground surface, so my children looked at them curiously. And my children made wishes while building small stone towers. These days, whenever we go on a trip, my children make a wish by building stone towers, and it is very cute and lovely.
We were very satisfied with the tour until the end of our trip to Jeju Island. I think my next family trip will probably be in late July or early August. We haven't decided on the exact date and location yet, but I'm sure the next trip will be very fun, too. I'm already looking forward to it.
