I fell asleep deeply last night so my sleep score is very good, but maybe because I drank a lot and slept, my heart rate variability score is low, so my energy score is not good. I should cut back on drinking from now on.

Do those things still exist? We got many but they never registered steps nor sleep even if we slept it said we didn't. In the end we threw it away and stopped the counting. It was demotivating.
The devices of the past had a lot of problems. I don't know what device you've used in the past, but I think it's inaccurate and there were a lot of errors. If I had used such a device, I would have been discouraged too. The device I measure now is Samsung's Galaxy Watch. It is very precise and accurate so that it is reliable.
