In questo periodo mi piace dare uno sguardo ai cataloghi on-line di fiori e piante.
Ce ne sono di bellissimi ed interessanti e spesso contengono utili informazioni sulle varietà che propongono in vendita.
Mi sono fermata sul catalogo di della ditta Meilland che , come recita il loro slogan, dal 1867, Creatore-Produttore di Rose e Selezionatore di Piante & Accessori per Giardini. Una grande tradizione di giardinieri e produttori famosa in tutto il mondo.
Questo produttore è famosissimo per le rose ma possiede una fornitissima collezione di piante da bulbo come quella dell’ alstroemeria che ha attirato la mia attenzione.

Di questa pianta , in effetti , ho avuto modo, nel tempo di fare diverse fotografie e ho potuto mettere in fila una discreta varietà di questo bel giglio.
Si tratta di un cespuglio che raggiunge i 50 cm di altezza e ha una ricca e abbondante fioritura che va dal mese di Maggio a Ottobre. Si presta bene per bordure, coltivazione in vaso ed è molto usato come fiore reciso nella composizione di mazzi fioriti.

Alstroemeria è nota anche come Giglio Peruviano e nel catalogo Meilland le diverse varietà hanno nomi Stella, Lucas, Beatrice, Turcalmaze, Turcalise......
I colori sono tanti, : rosa salmone, bianco, viola, rosso e con screziature e sfumature al centro del fiore.
Il loro costo è di circa 12 euro.

I stopped on the catalog of the company Meilland which, as their slogan says, since 1867, Creator-Producer of Roses and Selector of Plants & Accessories for Gardens. A great tradition of gardeners and producers famous all over the world.

This producer is very famous for roses but has a well-stocked collection of bulb plants such as that of alstroemeria that caught my attention.
In fact, over time I was able to take several photographs of this plant and I was able to line up a decent variety of this beautiful lily.
It is a bush that reaches 50 cm in height and has a rich and abundant flowering that goes from the month of May to October. It is well suited for borders, cultivation in pots and is widely used as a cut flower in the composition of flower bouquets.
Alstroemeria is also known as Peruvian Lily and in the Meilland catalog, the different varieties have names Stella, Lucas, Beatrice, Turcalmaze, Turcalise ...

The colors are many,: salmon pink, white, purple, red, and with streaks and shades in the center of the flower.
Their cost is around 12 euros.
