Good evening everyone!
It' already the last day of August.
It seems to me that the end of summer has already arrived for about ten days, between the holidays and the time that begins to cool.
The sun always sets earlier and I already regret the sunsets at past 21.

However I like September. I always remember D'Annunzio's poem "September let's go it's time to migrate" and with a little bitterness I think that even this September, I am not migrating anywhere. On the other hand,
a dear friend of mine will be moving, he has worked for years in England and finally, after being blocked in England in the last two years due to the pandemic, he will be able to return home for a few days. I can't wait to see him again! Unfortunately, due to Brexit, the bureaucracy, especially those related to the Green Pass, created too many inconveniences: if he had left in July he would have had to do 10 days of quarantine in Italy, making the holiday completely useless. I don't know exactly what the recent adjustments have been, but it seems that now for those who are vaccinated this will not be necessary.

Today I started scrolling through some photos taken this summer, and in particular in August. How many days at sea, aperitifs, chats, sunsets.

I was a little saddened, and so I allowed myself for lunch a single dish a little tasty and after a nice pistachio ice cream to cheer me up. I must say that pistachio flavored ice creams have definitely improved: once they tasted of everything except pistachio, and they tasted too sweet and falsified. Now they finally have a touch of salty that makes them great. Obviously I couldn't take any picture of it since I ate it as soon as I could.

Back home from work I collapsed on the sofa to watch a couple of episodes of the series "how to get away with murder", just to get some adrenaline. In reality, however, I'm getting a little bored...
Speaking of TV series: the fifth season of the "La casa de papel" will soon be out: I can't wait for it! This is another good reason for which I am happy that September is coming ahahahaha.

Siamo giunti all'ultimo giorno di Agosto.
La fine dell'estate in vero mi sembra sia arrivata già da una decina di giorni, tra ferie finite e il tempo che inizia a raffreddare.
Il sole tramonta sempre prima e già si rimpiangono i tramonti alle 21 passate.

Comunque mi piace Settembre. Mi torna sempre a mente la poesia di D'Annunzio "Settembre andiamo è tempo di migrare" e con un po' di amarezza penso che anche questo Settembre, io non migro da alcuna parte. In compenso a spostarsi sarà un mio carissimo amico, che lavora da anni in Inghilterra e che finalmente, dopo essere stato bloccato negli ultimi anni in Inghilterra a causa della pandemia, riuscirà a tornare qualche giorno a casa. Non vedo l'ora di poterlo rivedere! Purtroppo a causa della brexit la burocrazia, soprattutto quelle legate al Green Pass, creava troppi disagi: se fosse partito a Luglio avrebbe dovuto, infatti, farsi 10 giorni di quarantena in Italia, rendendo la vacanza del tutto inutile. Non so con esattezza quali siano state le recenti rettifiche, ma pare che adesso per chi è vaccinato questo non sarà necessario.

Oggi mi sono messo a scorrere alcune foto scattate quest'estate, ed in particolare in Agosto. Quante giornate di mare, aperitivi, chiacchierate, tramonti.

Mi sono un poco intristito, e così mi sono concesso per pranzo un piatto unico un po' sfizioso e dopo un bel gelato al pistacchio per tirarmi su il morale. Devo dire che i gelati confezionati al gusto pistacchio sono decisamente migliorati: un tempo sapevano di tutto tranne che di pistacchio, ed avevano un gusto troppo dolciastro e falsato. Adesso finalmente hanno un tocco di salato che li rende fantastici. Ovviamente non ne ho foto visto che lo ho divorato!

Tornato a casa da lavoro sono sprofondato sul divano a guardare un paio di episodi della serie "le regole del delitto perfetto", giusto per avere un po' ai adrenalina. In realtà però mi sta venendo un po' a noia...
A proposito di serie tv: a breve uscirà la quinta stagione della "Casa di carta": non sto nella pelle! Ecco: un'altra buona ragione per cui sono felice che arrivi Settembre ahahahaha.
