METAVERSO.. pronti per l'evoluzione di Internet? / METAVERSE.. ready for the evolution of the Internet? [ITA/ENG]
Si sta parlando sempre più spesso di METAVERSO, di questo grande spazio virtuale in cui poter vivere le stesse esperienze che si fanno nella vita reale.
Il Metaverso potrebbe essere considerato l'evoluzione di Internet.
Al momento è tutto talmente agli inizi che non c'è ancora una definizione definitiva di Metaverso, l'unica cosa certa è che questa parola è stata già usata nel 1992 nel romanzo Snow Crash di Neal Stephenson, un libro di fantascienza in cui viene raccontata la vita di un avatar nel suo mondo virtuale.
E il 2021 è stato l'anno che ha visto materializzarsi ed esplodere i primi mondi virtuali, hanno avuto un grande successo progetti come The Sandbox, Decentraland, Axie Infinity, My Neighbour Alice, Star Atlas e Revv Racing.
Ma il Metaverso è molto di più di un mondo di giochi virtuali, è il mondo decentralizzato che appartiene a tutti gli utenti, è l'idea di ricostruire il nostro mondo digitale per restituire la proprietà all'individuo.
Tutto questo è possibile grazie alla blockchain e agli NFT.
Chi non conosce il mondo delle crypto probabilmente associa il Metaverso alla realtà virtuale oppure all'ultimo progetto di Zuckerberg, Meta; ma qui si stanno mettendo le basi per un mondo o più mondi che forse comunicheranno tra loro, in cui non c'è un unico proprietario, una piattaforma centralizzata, ma tutto l'opposto.
Nel Metaverso crypto tutti hanno uguale accesso all'economia del gioco, sono gli utenti stessi a possederne il contenuto sotto forma di asset digitali, NFT o il token su cui si basa il progetto.
Ma ovviamente al lato etico e idealistico si contrappone sempre la realtà e in questo caso il business, infatti il Metaverso è tenuto d'occhio dalle grandi società di venture capital, visto che secondo un report pubblicato da Grayscale, è un mercato che nei prossimi anni potrebbe valere oltre 1.000 miliardi di dollari.
Vedremo come avverrà la corsa al Metaverso e se la sua decentralizzazione sarà in grado di difendere la proprietà dell'utente dal potere sproporzionato delle grandi aziende che vogliono accaparrarsi la loro fetta di mondo virtuale.

More and more people are talking about METAVERSO, this great virtual space where you can live the same experiences you have in real life.
The Metaverse could be considered the evolution of the Internet.

Those unfamiliar with the world of crypto probably associate the Metaverse with virtual reality or with Zuckerberg's latest project, Meta; but here the foundations are being laid for a world or several worlds that will perhaps communicate with each other, in which there is no single owner, no centralized platform, but quite the opposite.
In the crypto Metaverse everyone has equal access to the game economy, it is the users themselves who own the content in the form of digital assets, NFTs or the token on which the project is based.
But obviously the ethical and idealistic side is always opposed to reality and in this case the business, in fact, the Metaverse is being watched by large venture capital firms, since according to a report published by Grayscale, it is a market that in the next few years could be worth over $1 trillion.
We'll see how the race to the Metaverse will take place and if its decentralization will be able to defend user ownership from the disproportionate power of big companies that want to grab their slice of the virtual world.

Mi devo interessare di più al metaverso. Interessante quello che ha affermato Grayscale, se lo pensano loro bisogna stare attenti a non farsi sfuggire l’opportunità. Meta di Facebook io non lo ritengo neanche un Metaverso… mi dispiace per quelli che cadranno nella “trappola”… il metaverso o nasce decentralizzato o non ha senso
La penso come te o decentralizzazione oppure rischia di essere una trappola per spingerci semplicemente a comprare prodotti. Ma io ho fiducia nel mondo crypto per quanto sia un mondo pieno di balene potenti, rimane sempre un po' di spazio di azione per noi comuni mortali.. 😜
Quello che mi piace di più del metaverso è poter incontrare i miei colleghi in modo virtuale, cioè incontri di lavoro, mi sembra che se usato bene potremmo anche essere felici, la felicità è così effimera, che potremmo in un certo modo facciamolo da soli con quello che ci piace, io per esempio andrei a surfear, ma i potenti sono già concentrati su questo come dici tu, quindi vedremo cosa succede in un prossimo futuro
Penso che il mondo cripto non si può imbrigliare e gestire come una qualsiasi azienda centralizzata. Il mondo crypto saprà sicuramente schivare chi vuole trasformare il metaverso soltanto in un mezzo per vendere prodotti commerciali. Io resto fiduciosa. 😜
The metaverse is still in the ABC, the proposals that are made today tomorrow may not be fulfilled, we have to wait, since with time we will see what form it will take.
We'll have to see how it develops in the future, but I remain hopeful. :-)
