No one will come to help you if it is not you yourself
However, because I know how my mother took care of them when they were having a hard time, I believe that they should be able to do the same for me when I was also having financial difficulties. Every time I asked them for help and they gave me excuses, my hatred for them grew.
What I realized was that I was blaming them for what was wrong in my life. I believed they should help me because my mother had helped them.
This mentality doesn't stop there, I complain a lot about the government, and I compare my country to many foreign countries that are doing very well and this is not because of anything, it's because I blame the government for my problems.
I continued to believe that the government was the main reason why things didn't work out for me and why I couldn't progress in life, I did this for several years and I believed I needed a sudden opportunity because after I had complained about so many things my whole life, I believed luck was the only way and the only way out for me.
Believing in Luck is one type of illusion I experienced, and it is very common among young people.
I, who lived with my mother, always believed that to achieve success in life, I needed luck and if luck was on my side, I would be financially free because once I was done complaining, the only thing I could rely on was luck to change my situation.
I can't think, I think the government is not helping and my family is also not helping, The thing that can change my situation is a sudden change,I imagine various events when he makes money that are not realistic, I use my imagination to entertain myself.
This made me do a lot of things online,I invested a lot of the money I had into get rich quick schemes that yielded nothing, It was a waste of my money, time and life. I did this for a few years, until I realized that if I kept doing this, I would have nothing in my life, Complaining wasn't working for me and the luck I was hoping would come from doing things that were too good to be true was a waste of time. That's when I realized that I had to take control of my own life. If I didn't want to waste my life and I didn't want to remain poor, things had to change.
Nobody came
Some Indonesians on this platform will know about the Constitution and many other platforms under it, I tried various things with some of these platforms, but to no avail. I realized that I was to blame for my downfall, All my siblings that I talked about so bitterly also had their own lives and problems, and they didn't owe me anything, The older I get, the more I realize that it's not easy for everyone, Everyone is just trying, especially in a country like Indonesia where it's not easy for anyone.
No matter how bad a country's situation is, some people still do it, all the reasons I give myself are irrelevant. If I don't want to waste my life, I have to develop ways that I can be useful, create value, and also learn skills that will benefit me.
