NEVER TELL ME THAT THE WIND BLOWS

never tell me that the wind blows
because the wind never blows again
for when the wind blows, what remains
is the wind that blows even more
tell me instead that the wind only blows
when the air calms to the movement
of what passes through the air, a motor of feathers
or the continuous breath of this wind
or tell me nothing ever again
that it blows or that movement remains
that it doesn’t remain or always blows more
or simply tell me that you are the wind
because the wind that blows condenses
in our breathing as it condenses
