CONTEST: PHOTO TIME WEEK #18
Greetings my dear friends of Steemit and Italy
EESHITA BASU ROY displayed her collection of bygone days cosmetics cases like minakari, ceramic, stone studded Brass, wooden and silver for kumkum, Sindur, and Surma.
Red Sindur being very sacred cosmetics for married women. Sindur had immense value and symbolic recognition of married women. They put bindi 🔴 on the forehead with sindur and hair parting❗.
I noticed a beautiful 3D white Lace work of four ducks 🪿 to keep Sindur case which was not clear in the top view photo. So I took a zoom photo of the same.
There are reflection of lights on the glass of the Box.
Hope visitors will enjoys views of the rare objects of early nineteenth century.
