On the wave of Dogecoin trend, effect tweets and Elon Musk's wacky gags, another meme coin has been making headlines in the last few hours.
This is the SHIBA INU (SHIB) token, which has had an extraordinary surge, registering a growth of over 2000% in the last 7 days!
As in a puzzle, multiple factors came together and generated the sudden and violent explosion of this asset.
To turn the spotlight on the token was an (involuntary?) tweet from the usual Elon Musk who had expressed his intention to take a Shiba puppy, causing +500% growth in 24 hours.
Yesterday there was the news of the listing on Binance, in many ways a surprise even for the holders of the token themselves.
A press release was issued by the exchange and at 1 pm Italian time (UTC + 2) the exchanges of SHIB with USDT and BUSD were opened.
The consequent pump that more than doubled the value of the token and brought Shiba into the top 20 of Coinmarketcap cryptocurrencies by market capitalization (currently at # 17 with a market cap close to 13 billion dollars) was inevitable and obvious.
But is it just a trend or is there also a project behind it?
It seems that something is indeed there...
Currently 50% of tokens are locked on Uniswap to provide liquidity to exchanges, but the decentralized exchange Shibaswap is expected to arrive shortly, in which the SHIB token will clearly play a central role.
Partnerships with the ETH world are not to be excluded, given that as stated on the Shiba inu website, the remaining 50% was sent to Vitalik Buterin as a sort of burn.
A decision that seems to have given stability to the coin, as many are convinced that Buterin, despite having the tokens available, will never sell them. Even if not everyone agrees on this point, Vitalik is certainly a famous guarantor.
What the future reserves to this project, we will know in the coming months.
Meanwhile, the holders dream, given that the early adopters, having bought at a very low price, have millions or even billions of tokens in their hands that they do not seem willing to sell, at least for now. Their declared target is 0.01$.
Will it be the new Doge? Or the new Cake? Or maybe the hype is momentary and everything will dissolve in a soap bubble?

Sull'onda della moda Dogecoin, dei tweet ad effetto e delle strampalate gag di Elon Musk, un'altra meme coin sta facendo parlare di sé nelle ultime ore.
Si tratta del token SHIBA INU (SHIB), che ha avuto un'impennata straordinaria, facendo registrare una crescita di oltre il 2000% negli ultimi 7 giorni!
Come in un puzzle, molteplici fattori si sono uniti e hanno generato l'esplosione improvvisa e violenta di questo asset.
Ad accendere i riflettori sul token era stato un (involontario?) tweet del solito Elon Musk che aveva manifestato l'intenzione di prendere un cucciolo di Shiba Inu, provocando un +500% di crescita in 24 ore.
Ieri poi c'è stata la notizia del listing su Binance, per molti versi una sorpresa anche per gli stessi holders del token.
E' uscito un comunicato da parte dell'exchange e alle 13 ora italiana (UTC+2) sono stati aperti gli scambi di SHIB con USDT e BUSD.
Inevitabile e scontato il conseguente pump che ha più che raddoppiato il valore del token e ha portato Shiba nella top 20 delle crypto di Coinmarketcap per capitalizzazione di mercato (attualmente al #17 con un market cap vicino ai 13 miliardi di dollari).
Ma è solo tendenza o c'è dietro anche un progetto?
Pare che qualcosa ci sia in effetti...
Attualmente il 50% dei token è bloccato su Uniswap per fornire liquidità agli scambi, ma dovrebbe arrivare a breve l'exchange decentralizzato Shibaswap, nel quale il token SHIB avrà chiaramente un ruolo centrale.
Non sono da escludere partnership con il mondo ETH, visto che come dichiarato sul sito web di Shiba inu, il rimanente 50% è stato inviato a Vitalik Buterin come una sorta di burn.
Una decisione che pare abbia dato stabilità alla moneta, in quanto molti sono convinti che Buterin, pur avendo a disposizione i token, non li venderà mai. Anche se non tutti sono d'accordo su questo punto, di sicuro Vitalik è un celebre garante.
Cosa riserverà il futuro a questo progetto, lo sapremo nei prossimi mesi.
Intanto gli holders sognano, dato che gli early adopters, avendo acquistato ad un prezzo davvero ridotto, hanno in mano milioni o anche miliardi di token che non sembrano intenzionati a vendere, almeno per ora. Il loro obiettivo dichiarato è di arrivare a 0,01 $.
Sarà il nuovo Doge? O il nuovo Cake? O magari l'hype è momentaneo e tutto si dissolverà in una bolla di sapone?
Lo vedremo...intanto, benvenuti ufficialmente nella stagione dei meme coin!

Beh ormai si tratta di avere fortuna e anche la shitcoin diventa oro. Rispetto a DOGE, l'entusiasmo potrebbe essere confermato dal DEX e allora si ne vedrebbero delle belle
Vediamo...chi è entrato per-pump potrebbe avere davvero una bomba in mano, ma è difficile da dire adesso. Va guardato sul medio-lungo periodo (almeno 3 mesi secondo me) e bisogna capire cosa succederà quando finirà la bullrun.
Quello che ha fatto questa coin è impressionante. Oggi si trova già nella 25esima posizione sorpassando progetti ben più noti. Non so nemmeno io come possano succedere queste cose ad oggi.

Performance del genere in passato se ne sono viste, ma i dollari in gioco erano molto meno, quindi fare questi salti in classifica non era cosa impossibile. Quello che stupisce è rivedere questi stravolgimenti della classifica oggi, per fare movimenti del genere ci vogliono grossi capitali.
