Dear Sri Lanka...Thanks from Italy! - Caro Sri Lanka...Grazie dall'Italia! [ENG-ITA]

We have come to the end of this beautiful experience in collaboration with friends from Sri Lanka and I want to make a closing post with some considerations and comments about the activity.

I am really very happy with how our initiative has performed and developed, because I believe we have achieved all our goals.

First of all, to reserve our space for users of a small community, giving them the opportunity to talk about their land, their traditions and their history.

Then that of populating the community Italy, also hosting friends from other countries who want to grow with us.

And again, that of supporting with the means we have available, all the deserving and well-done works of our partners.

I hope that all users who participated are happy and satisfied with how the initiative went.

All the posts have been voted by the accounts of the Italian community and by all our best supports, we should also thank @steemcurator01 who followed the activity with great attention and upvoted many interesting contents.

The interaction was also really good...almost all the posts received enthusiastic comments and I hope that in the next few days there will be more...in short, I believe that the welcome from Italy has been good, worthy of its fame.

I want to thank @besticofinder, Country Rep of Sri Lanka once again, who was fundamental in carrying out both phases of the initiative.

We talked to each other and he too is very happy with our collaboration.
I am extremely satisfied and happy with this, especially for having completely independently set up a partnership with another Rep and its community.

Now he will write a summary post in which he will highlight the best entries of Dear Italy.

What does the future have to offer?

With this beautiful chapter closed, it's time to look forward.

Unfortunately, despite the numerous appeals, even from the Team, I have to take note of the fact that no other country has been concretely interested in the Dear Italy format, as it is now structured.

So, with a bit of regret, as no requests have been received for the next few weeks, I must consider this experience closed.

This doesn't mean that Dear Italy will disappear forever, on the contrary, it could at this point evolve...it could transform like the caterpillar transforms into a butterfly.

Interesting project - hopefully more of the Country Reps will get involved.
Sparked a little idea...
As it is difficult for people to travel to visit new countries now because of Covid-19, would there be potential to develop from this some sort of 'Virtual Travel Agent' type game.
People who would like to visit a country for a (virtual) holiday write a post describing what their holiday should include (beaches, mountains, activities), how long they want to visit for, and what their budget is.
Then people living in that country 'pitch' their holiday plan for the enquirer - research places to visit, activities, places to eat and stay, costs etc - both from their own local knowledge of their country and from web information.
Then the original enquirer choses their favorite 'virtual holiday package' for the winner.
Just an idea, maybe too complicated, but could be fun...

I totally agree that the idea can be brilliant and fun!

I am also proud that our work has inspired this beautiful proposal from the Team.

Now we are already working to perfect, structure and set up this new activity in the best possible way.

Siamo giunti al termine di questa bella esperienza in collaborazione con gli amici dello Sri Lanka e voglio fare un post di chiusura con un po' di considerazioni e di commenti a proposito dell'attività.

Io sono davvero molto contento di come si sia svolta e sviluppata la nostra iniziativa, perché credo che abbiamo raggiunto tutti i nostri obiettivi.

In primis, quello di riservare il nostro spazio agli utenti di una piccola comunità, dando loro la possibilità di parlare della loro terra, delle loro tradizioni e della loro storia.

Poi quello di popolare la community Italy, ospitando anche amici di altri paesi che vogliono crescere insieme a noi.

E ancora, quello di supportare con i mezzi che abbiamo a disposizione, tutti i lavori meritevoli e ben fatti dei nostri partner.

Spero che tutti gli utenti che hanno partecipato siano felici e soddisfatti di come sia andata l'iniziativa.

Tutti i post sono stati votati dagli account della comunità italiana e da tutti i nostri migliori supporti, va ringraziato anche @steemcurator01 che ha seguito con grande attenzione l'attività e ha votato molti contenuti interessanti.

Anche l'interazione è stata davvero buona...quasi tutti i post hanno ricevuto dei commenti entusiasti e mi auguro che nei prossimi giorni potranno essercene ancora altri...credo insomma che l'accoglienza dell'Italia sia stata buona, degna della sua fama.

Voglio ringraziare ancora una volta @besticofinder, Country Rep dello Sri Lanka, che è stato fondamentale nello svolgimento di entrambe le fasi dell'iniziativa.

Ci siamo parlati e anche lui è molto contento della nostra collaborazione.
Sono estremamente soddisfatto e felice di ciò, soprattutto per il fatto di aver impostato in maniera totalmente indipendente una partnership con un altro Rep e la sua community.

Adesso lui stilerà un post riassuntivo nel quale metterà in evidenza i migliori post di Dear Italy.

Appena sarà pronto, aggiornerò questo post e inserirò il link qui.

Cosa ci riserva il futuro?

Chiuso questo bel capitolo, è ora di guardare avanti.

Purtroppo, nonostante i numerosi appelli, anche da parte del Team, devo prendere atto del fatto che nessun altro Paese si è interessato in maniera concreta al format di Dear Italy, così come strutturato adesso.

Quindi, con un po' di dispiacere, visto che non sono arrivate richieste per le prossime settimane, devo considerare chiusa questa esperienza.

Questo non vuol dire che Dear Italy scomparirà per sempre, anzi, potrebbe a questo punto evolversi...potrebbe trasformarsi come il bruco si trasforma in una farfalla.

Progetto interessante - speriamo che partecipino molti dei rappresentanti.
Ci è venuta una piccola idea...
Poiché è difficile per le persone viaggiare per visitare nuovi paesi ora a causa del Covid-19, ci sarebbe il potenziale per sviluppare una sorta di gioco tipo "Agente di viaggio virtuale".
Le persone che vorranno visitare un paese per una vacanza (virtuale) scrivono un post descrivendo cosa dovrebbe includere la loro vacanza (spiagge, montagne, attività), per quanto tempo desiderano visitare e qual è il loro budget.
Quindi le persone che vivono in quel paese "propongono" il loro piano di vacanza per il richiedente - ricerca di luoghi da visitare, attività, posti in cui mangiare e soggiornare, costi ecc. - sia basandosi sulla conoscenza del loro paese che servendosi di informazioni web.
Quindi il richiedente sceglie il suo "pacchetto vacanza virtuale" preferito ed è quello il vincitore.
E' solo un'idea, forse troppo complicata, ma potrebbe essere divertente...

Io sono assolutamente d'accordo che l'idea potrà essere brillante e divertente!

Sono anche orgoglioso del fatto che il nostro lavoro abbia ispirato questa bella proposta del Team.

Adesso siamo già al lavoro per perfezionare, strutturare e impostare al meglio questa nuova attività.
