RE: PHOTOCHAIN Challenge TESTNET - Edition number 69 [ENG | ITA]
Hi @davidesimoncini. Let's start the ball rolling on this one. Here's my entry.
This is a cement sculpture of the Philippine Eagle, our country's national bird. This was sculpted by the renowned artist Kublai Milan. This is one huge sculpture, soaring over 15 feet high. Here he is clutching in his beak a large branch of the Talisay tree (Indian Almond Tree) still with leaves attached to it. Those human statues below it are supposed to be indigenous tribal people who are gathering baskets of native fruits. They may look small compared to the eagle but they are at least 8 feet tall.
My Personal Keyword is FRUITS.
BRANCH / EYE / FRUITS
Will await your entries @soulfuldreamer @xiao-aine, @wakeupkitty.pal, @solperez, @dim753, @jiva34, @jhellenmgjr, @eskarem, @bedarg, @jpegg, @lupega, @henryclive, and @cicisaja.
A nice artwork, congratulations to the author and to you for bringing it to Photochain. Thank you for joining also this week. Have a great new day and a big good luck for the contest!
A great shot. So what is the man holding for huge fruit? For a second I thought it was a curled up hedgehog.
🍀♥️
Thank you @nishadi89 and @steemcurator08. 👌👍🫶
And the game is over... Nailed it! 😯🤯
All praises to the artist on that one :-))
It's a cool piece of art, yes, but the game isn't over yet. Not by a long shot. Stranger things have happened in PhotoChain that makes me believe the only sure thing in this Contest is you'll never know who the winner will be. Don't give up. You can do better. Get Auggie, with his newly acquired zebra stripes, to stand beside a tree rubbing his head against it to try and remove those stripes hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣
LOL, Auggie strikes again! 🤣🤣 That would make such a hilarious picture...it already has me laughing just thinking about it! 🤣I just hope I can pull it off.
Poor boy, an American Bully who's always getting bullied—oh, the irony! Haha!
Anyway, there's still plenty of time to come up with something else if the plan doesn't work out. 😅
Auggie can lay down on his back and relax. He only needs to open one eye and look at you when you tell him to fetch the stick! Now I think of it an eye is an eye it can be closed.
🍀♥️
I might do that but I don't like playing fetch with him as he never return the stick to me. I might just put a stick on his head while sleeping.
Thanks for the upvote btw.. 🤍
Let's go Auggie!! You can do it 💪

Looking so cool to me 😎 look at that durian 😲 that man is holding the thorny skin (maybe it's jackfruit 😁). I'm still digging up my phone gallery to find a representative one.. good luck!!
Wow, you know your fruits. Yes, it's a durian fruit although jackfruit is also plentiful here in our place. Our city, Davao City, is also known as the durian capital of the Philippines. Hoping you find something in your gallery 🤞
I have no idea what that fruit is. We only have apples, aoples, apples, pears and a short period plums. The rest is imported.
Well we come from a tropical country, the Philippines, and we grow a lot of fruits. The durian fruit looks like this and has a thorny skin that can puncture you if you hold it the wrong way.
The jackfruit, on the other hand, looks like this. Its skin can look like the durian from afar but when close up is not thorny but grainy.

What we don't grow here are apples, pears and plums which we import.
As always your comments are more informative and helpful than the average post.
I never saw those fruits around here. I guess it's too expensive to import or people don't like it or we should eat ourselves through the coolers (cold stores) with apples first 🥴
A happy day!

Again, thank you for your support and encouragement ❤️ As I have mentioned before, I want this Challenge to succeed and will do anything to help with that including keeping you engaged so you can head hunt for more participants 😁
Oh, btw, if you're still interested with the mumbo jumbo art I mentioned in last Edition, I found the post. From three years back. Yep, that's how long ago it was. Click here. Be sure to read through the comments which might just convince you to hang these kind of art on your wall 😉
A Happy New Year to you as well. 😊
Yes, I am still interested and who knows I can do something with it for the Art & Artists community. Let me see who more I can invite. Good commenters are rare I can tell you.
Thanks for the effort and a great night/day.
🍀♥️
My pleasure. Have a great night or day yourself 😊🎆✨️
I miss this fruit. I found sometimes herebut it is so expensive. I rather bought in a can and satisfied my craving. Jackfruit is so yummy @wakeupkitty you can try it in a canned jackfruit in any grocery.
About durian, I don't like it. It caused the death of my Aunt too young. She ate durian after their dinner and she drank Pepsi.. It was the caused of her death. So please do not drink soda after eating durian.
Jackfruit is also good with taho @olivia08. Have you tried that already?
Are you sure it was the durian or was it the Pepsi? Soda with durian is very popular here and though there were cases of strokes and heart attacks while mixing both, it was determined those who had these attacks were already afflicted with hypertension and heart problems in the first place. Anyway, durian is an acquired taste. They say it smells like hell but tastes like heaven. It took my wife 5 years to even taste durian. But now, she loves them.
They're harvesting fruits. The man in red is holding a durian.
