questo è un esperimento con le nuove matite colorate.

Devo dire che come sempre l'astratto improvvisato è liberatorio e divertente!
Dopo aver finito l'ho fotografato da altri punti di vista per ottenere altri effetti.

After I finished I photographed it from other points of view to get more effects.
Ho usato matite acquarellabili su foglio da 90g. Finora ho usato le Faber Castell, ma alcuni colori mancano perchè li ho già finiti, ad esempio il rosso. Altri invece non ci sono mai stati e avevo bisogno di altre sfumature.
I used watercolor pencils on a 90g sheet. So far I've used Faber Castell, but some colors are missing because I've already run out, for example red. Others, on the other hand, have never been there and I needed other nuances.
Così ho comprato le matite colorate Carioca, molto economiche, 24 pezzi costano 6,90 euro in una scatola di latta.
Per provare tutti i 24 colori della scatola, o quasi, ho realizzato un disegno astratto che mi permettesse di colorare gli spazi concentrandomi sulle sfumature, le luci e le ombre, piuttosto che sulla bellezza del disegno.
So I bought Carioca colored pencils, very cheap, 24 pieces cost 6.90 euros in a tin box. To try out almost all the 24 colors in the box, I created an abstract design that allowed me to color the spaces by focusing on the nuances rather than on the beauty of the design.
STEPS
Ho disegnato i contorni a matita, cercando di creare delle forme curve semplici con un foro al centro.
I drew the outlines in pencil, trying to make simple curved shapes with a hole in the center.
Quindi ho iniziato a colorare dalla forma più grande in primo piano. All'inizio pensavo di colorare semplicemente lo spazio, poi ho deciso di giocare un po' di più con le sfumature e provare a lasciare spazi più in luce e altri più marcati. Questo colore è il verde menta ed è il più bello di tutta la scatola! Non potevo non usarlo per primo!
So I started coloring from the largest shape in the foreground. At first, I thought of simply coloring the space, but then I decided to play a little more with the nuances and try to leave more light spaces and others more marked. This color is mint green and it's the prettiest in the whole box! I couldn't not use it at first!
Ho proseguito nel colorare gli spazi cercando di creare tridimensionalità grazie al chiaroscuro e l'alternanza di luci e ombre.
Questa è una tecnica che si dovrebbe padroneggiare bene nel disegno e che ancora sto imparando. Sia perchè bisogna decidere la direzione della luce e quindi delle ombre, sia perchè bisogna imparare a dare la giusta pressione al tratto (tra le altre cose). Qui ogni forma va per conto suo nel senso che non c'è una direzione della luce per tutto il disegno, ma in generale ho cercato di marcare le ombre nel punto di contatto tra le forme.
I continued to color the spaces trying to create a 3D effect thanks to chiaroscuro and the alternation of light and shadow.
This is a technique that should be mastered well in drawing and that I am still learning. Both because it is necessary to decide the direction of the light and therefore of the shadows, and because one must learn to give the right pressure to the strokes (among other things). Here each shape goes its own way in the sense that there is no direction of light for the whole drawing, but in general, I have tried to mark the shadows at the point of contact between the shapes.
Dopo qualche ora il disegno è terminato. All'inizio pensavo di fare uno sfondo scuro per farlo risaltare, ma ho deciso di mantenerlo luminoso!
After a few hours, the drawing is finished. At first, I thought about making a dark background to make it stand out, but I decided to keep it bright!
Come già adetto, delle matite mi piace moltissimo il verde menta. Avevo bisogno dei colori soprattutto perchè non avevo più nessun rosso e qui ce ne sono due, il rosso acceso e un bellissimo rosso scuro che è quasi un color ciliegia. Inoltre, tra le tonalità di giallo mi piace molto il giallo albicocca che qui non ho usato, ma è molto bello e proverò al più presto.
Per il resto le matite mi sembrano più dure delle Faber Castell che ho e mi sembra di fare più fatica con certi colori, ma credo che sia proprio una questione di qualità.
As already mentioned, I really like a mint green pencil. I needed the new colors mainly because I didn't have any red anymore and here are two, bright red and a beautiful dark red that is almost a cherry color. Also, among the shades of yellow, I really like apricot yellow which I didn't use here, but it's very nice and I'll try it soon.
Per il resto le matite mi sembrano più dure delle Faber Castell che ho e mi sembra di fare più fatica con certi colori, ma credo che sia proprio una questione di qualità.
For the rest, the pencils seem harder than the Faber Castells I have and I have to struggle more with certain colors, but I think it's really a question of quality.

Simpatico questo esperimento, sono anche piacevoli i colori che hai scelto! La tecnica migliorerà disegno dopo disegno intanto di diverti, ti rilassi e ti dedichi ad una forma d'arte, meglio di così! :-)))

Molto bello, l'astratto è affascinante un po' come la fantascienza nella letteratura, perché permette all'autore di fare un po' quello che vuole. Interessante vedere come il disegno quasi cambi significato in base all'inquadratura.
